Imagine a car driving in slow motion. In the back seat is a little girl looking at something longingly out the window, probably kids eating ice cream or playing in the park. Yeah, that's me in the morning, except it's a city bus and I'm looking at the display in the Anne Taylor window. Oh how I want to wear one of those dresses! They all remind me of something you'd see on Mad Men, which is my favorite drama and my favorite era in fashion! That being said, I'm definitely joining WW. I'm going to start Friday. I think that will be a good weigh in day for me. It will hopefully keep me motivated through the weekend, which is the hardest time of the week for me. Knowing I'm joining WW again means that I am totally pigging out today. I had an avocado and cheese sandwich for dinner and tried to finish off my Vodka Chocolates. Those things pack a punch! Hic...
I heard back from LaGuardia Community College today. I didn't contact the correct person, but he was nice enough to send me the names of the people I do need to contact. Great! I'm on it!
I hate my job with a passion! I was yelled and rudely spoken to way too much today! Receptionists are dishwashers of the corporate world. I have gotten so good and being rude back, which I hate. I'm not a rude person. I actually enjoy being nice to people! And I'm good at it! Unless I hate you and then I'm think I come off cold and aloof, but probably I'm just bitchy. Anyway, the point is I don't want to be that way. Ever. I want puppies, rainbows and unicorns!
I'm getting much better about drinking water. Yay me!

Btw, you will be in an Ann Taylor dress and looking fab before you know it. I also fantasize about all the cute clothes I'd wear if I were skinny! Soon... very soon!!
ReplyDeleteJenna you know I completely feel your pain about work. I hate being mean too but sometimes there are no other options. You are doing the small steps to the career that will bring rainbows and unicorns. Like I said, this year is going to bring major opportunities for you. Keep taking those steps. Sometimes I pretend I'm a serious 80's business woman and I play that role up and it makes the day more fun.
