At the end of the day, the public transit rage and the work rage seem like nothing compared the literal pain in my back. I'm just beyond disappointed with the slow recovery of my back. I feel so helpless. Maybe I can meditate it away. That being said, WHY THE HELL DON'T PEOPLE TAKE THEIR BACKPACKS OFF WHEN ON THE BUS? Why must you keep it on your back so that when you're trying to decide which window you wan to stare out of, you are inadvertently hitting people who are seated in the head with your damn pack! It's common sense, or just plain awareness of your surroundings! Sheesh! AND, WHY THE HELL DIDN'T I QUIT MY LAME ASS JOB TWO YEARS AGO? How messed up is this? When my coworker is out of the office, like she was today, I cannot leave my desk except to run to bathroom. No breaks. No lunch. I eat at my desk. If she's out for a week, it's like that for a week! No fresh air, no walking away when a caller has been extremely rude, as they often are. And vice versa, of course. I think it it's breaking some kind of labor law to not allow your workers a break. What a stupid system! There's really no other way of doing this? I am such a chump!
In other news, I made a kick ass stir fry tonight.
Tomorrow
Stretch every half hour at work.
Drink lots of water.
Track my food.
Call my trainer back.
Night-Night
I know that it is soooo hard to stick with a job that you hate but need. It is auful to work somewhere that is slowly sucking your soul. The more steps you take to changing that, the better you are going to feel. Like I said, this year is going to be a very awesome year for you. Don't doubt yourself. You know what you want to do but it's hard to commit to a choice.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your back. ( I hope it starts to heal soon. I
Is it ok that I just got extremely irrate at your employers for reading this...I say turn them in to the BBB...it's so against labor laws that you do not get breaks. Booo on them....But yay on kick ass stir fry..yummmmmm
