I Am an Apple. Not to be Confused With an Apple Bottom.

Over the last 3 years, approximately 4 people have commented on my pregnancy. I am not pregnant. One man even offered his seat to me on the bus. To me! Not to my Mom or any of the other women standing, but to me. And he had such panic on his face when he did it. His face said, "oh my God you should NOT be standing in your condition". Have I mentioned that I am NOT pregnant? What I am, though, is the dreaded "apple". The most unhealthy of the body types. Well, it's time to say so long to the apple once and for all! And I'm going to start by blogging.

I have joined a group of ladies in what is being called the followthrough club or something like that. Lord knows I have some followthrough issues. The main one being that I don't do it. And rather than boring you with the psychosis/neurosis behind my tendency to, well, give up before I've reached a goal, I'm going to just lay out some things I'd like to accomplish this year.  Then I'll check in daily to write about my progress. Giving birth to my imaginary baby is obviously one of my goals for the year. As for the rest, I'll be back tomorrow with my list.

Night-night.

  1. I too, am a part of the "No, I'm not pregnant" club, asked more times than I'd like to admit, but I will admit, everytime I had to answer that question, I cried afterwards. Cheers to giving birth to the imaginary baby! I look forward to reading your blog, and sharing this journey with you!
